Our client, a leading provider of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services, is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Specializing in delivering high-quality M&E solutions across a range of sectors, our client is looking for a skilled professional to manage the financial aspects of M&E projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the financial management of mechanical and electrical projects, from pre-construction to completion. Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and pricing for M&E works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements. Manage tendering and procurement processes, including assessing subcontractor quotes and negotiating contracts. Monitor project costs and performance, ensuring that projects remain on budget and that variations are properly managed. Prepare valuations, manage project variations, and produce final accounts for M&E projects. Provide value engineering and cost-saving solutions during the project lifecycle. Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, assess work quality, and address any cost-related issues. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and client specifications. Requirements: Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the construction or M&E services sector. Strong knowledge of M&E systems, materials, and construction processes. Experience in cost estimation, contract management, and project delivery for mechanical and electrical projects. Proficiency in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
