Our client are a versatile Main Contractor that specialises in new build and refurbishment projects valued up to £3m. They deliver a wide range of projects across multiple sectors including commercial, healthcare, leisure, education, and industrial. They are now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their business. Duties and responsibilities to include: Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans. Review of bid documents, drawings, specifications, and other reports applying a good understanding of all components of a tender submission. Identify any financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities. Measure quantities and produce Bills of Quantities and/or oversee their production by others. Ensures enquiries are issued and quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers. Cost control and value management strategies. Monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statements Oversee the commercial aspects of the project Manage cash flow. Manage subcontractor payments. Provide guidance on contractual issues.
