Our client is a well-established specialist in high-quality plastering and dry lining services, with over 20 years of industry experience. They deliver exceptional results across residential and commercial construction projects throughout the North West. They are seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is a key role with responsibility for managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets and cost plans
  • Provide accurate cost advice and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare tender documentation, bills of quantities, and contract administration
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotes and manage procurement
  • Handle valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Mitigate risk through strong commercial awareness and contract management
  • Lead commercial meetings and liaise with internal and external stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, drylining experience is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC)
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage junior staff
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional qualification (RICS desirable)
