Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a respected name in the construction industry, delivering high-quality projects with a focus on safety, compliance, and excellence. They are currently seeking a proactive and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Candidates with fire protection or fire safety experience will be at an advantage, though this is not essential. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and valuations Measuring and estimating works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements Managing subcontractor accounts, payments, and variations Assisting with tender preparation and contract negotiations Preparing reports and providing cost advice to support decision-making Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification Requirements: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction Strong knowledge of cost control, estimating, and contract administration Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills Fire protection/fire safety experience is highly advantageous Strong communication and organisational abilities Proficiency with relevant software (e.g. Excel, estimating tools) What\’s on Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Opportunities for career development and progression Supportive and collaborative working environment The chance to contribute to high-profile projects If you\’re a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking company, we\’d love to hear from you.
