Our client is a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects across civils and utilities. Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, they are now seeking a Project Planner to support the successful planning and delivery of projects.
The Role:
As Project Planner, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and monitoring project programmes, working closely with delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 / MS Project
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and provide programme updates
- Carry out critical path analysis and forecasting
- Support tender planning and pre-construction activities
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams
- Produce reports for internal teams and client stakeholders
- Assist with change management and programme recovery where required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Planner within civil engineering or infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of planning software (P6 or MS Project)
- Experience working on utilities, civils or water projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities
- Full UK driving licence
