A well-established Northwest Developer with an excellent reputation for delivering complex urban developments is looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to join its growing delivery team. With a strong pipeline of Manchester city centre residential and mixed-use developments, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience on fast-paced, high-quality projects while progressing your career with a business that invests in its people. Working alongside an experienced project team, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of city centre residential and mixed-use schemes, helping to ensure projects are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising daily site activities and coordinating trades and subcontractors. Supporting the delivery of projects to programme, quality and budget requirements. Maintaining high standards of health and safety through site inspections, inductions and toolbox talks. Assisting with short-term planning and coordinating daily works. Managing site logistics, material deliveries and storage. Completing site diaries, progress reports and quality assurance records. Monitoring workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and building regulations. Liaising with clients, consultants and suppliers to keep projects running smoothly. Assisting with cost control through timesheet checks and material tracking. Manage QA procedures on site and keep accurate recordsWhat We're Looking For Previous experience within a construction environment, ideally with a main contractor. Strong communication and organisational skills. A proactive attitude and a desire to develop into a Site Manager. Good understanding of construction processes and CDM regulations. Experience using Fieldview, Procore or similar site management software is advantageous.Essential Requirements Degree qualified with a minimum of 2 years site experience OR experienced Supervisor, Foreman looking for that next step.
