About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and driven Contracts Manager to oversee and deliver flat roofing projects from pre-construction through to completion. The successful candidate will manage multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple flat roofing contracts from start to finish
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, materials, and workmanship quality
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and financial performance
- Manage project risks, programmes, and client expectations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and supply partners
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, professionalism, and excellence across all projects
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within roofing or construction
- Extensive knowledge of flat roofing systems, including:
- Single ply
- Built-up felt
- Liquid roofing
- EPDM
- GRP/Fibreglass
- Green roofs
- Strong commercial awareness and project management skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
Desirable Qualifications
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- IOSH / NEBOSH
- Roofing-related qualifications or accreditations
