We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a short-term project involving refurbishment works and asbestos remediation on a live university site. The role requires a strong focus on health & safety, coordination of specialist contractors, and maintaining project timelines within a sensitive, occupied environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Ensure strict compliance with health & safety procedures
- Liaise with university stakeholders and subcontractors
- Monitor progress and report on programme milestones
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work
- Asbestos Awareness
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage works in a live/public-facing environment
