Floor Layer / Tiler Required – Liverpool Area Pay Rate: Β£19.00 per hour (PAYE Umbrella) Job Type: Temp to Perm Start Date: ASAP Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 08:00am – 3:30pm Friday Benefits: Company Van & Fuel Card Provided We are currently working on behalf of a leading contractor within the social housing sector, and we are looking to recruit an experienced Floor Layer / Tiler to join their responsive maintenance team across the Liverpool area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who is confident working in both occupied (tenanted) and void properties, carrying out a wide range of floor laying and tiling works to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out a variety of flooring works including floor tiling, vinyl fitting, and wet room installation Cap and Cove flooring installation to a professional standard Hot welding of vinyl flooring Fitting toilets and sanitaryware as part of bathroom refurbishments Ensuring all works are completed to a high quality with attention to detail Working in line with health & safety policies in tenanted homes Representing the company in a professional manner while working in tenants\’ homes Essential Requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Floor Laying, Tiling, or a relevant trade qualification Proven experience working in a domestic / social housing environment Confident working independently across various sites Experience in wet rooms, welding, and cap & cove flooring is essential Ability to carry out minor plumbing works, including toilet installation Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach Full UK Driving Licence (essential) What\’s On Offer: Β£19.00 per hour (PAYE Umbrella) Company van and fuel card provided Ongoing work with long-term prospects Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate Weekly pay and support from an experienced team If you are interested, please get in touch today with Rhys from Building Careers on (phone number removed)/ (phone number removed) Building Careers UK are specialist in Construction & Property recruitment.
