Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join their growing team. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of accurate and competitive cost estimates for fire safety system installations across various projects. Key Responsibilities: Review project documentation and determine the full scope of work following engineers\’ site visits. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather technical and logistical details. Analyse labour, materials, and time requirements to produce accurate cost estimates. Prepare detailed proposals and present them to clients with clarity and professionalism. Maintain and update records of estimates, proposals, and awarded contracts. Track and compare actual project costs against initial estimates to support future accuracy. Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail with a passion for precision in costing. Familiarity with fire safety systems and industry-specific materials and labour costs (preferred). Effective communication and teamwork skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software. Solid understanding of cost control techniques.
