Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Dry Lining Estimator to join their pre-construction team. This is a key role where you will ensure accurate project costings, enabling the successful delivery of high-quality dry lining solutions across a variety of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare comprehensive and precise dry lining cost estimates for projects ranging from small-scale refurbishments to large commercial developments.
Collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to collect and analyse all project information, ensuring estimates reflect the true scope of work.
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents to produce accurate and competitive pricing.
Ensure all estimates are aligned with company profitability targets, standards, and project timelines.
Monitor and analyse market trends, material costs, and labour rates to maintain up-to-date and competitive pricing models.
Support the pre-construction team with risk analysis, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
Contribute to bid submissions and client presentations, providing clear and detailed breakdowns of estimates.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in estimating within the construction sector, specifically in dry lining.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
