Our client are a well-established commercial and industrial roofing company based in Yorkshire, operating on projects across the UK. Specialising in a wide range of roofing and gutter solutions-including flat roofing, pitched roofing, reactive maintenance, asbestos replacement, gutters, and over-cladding-they are committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and cost-effective services to their clients.
The Role
They are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple roofing contracts from pre-start to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial roofing, excellent project management skills, and a hands-on approach to leading teams and liaising with clients.
Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple roofing projects across the UK, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Conduct site visits and audits to monitor progress and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Prepare and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.

Provide technical support and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure full compliance with relevant industry standards and internal quality procedures.

Oversee reactive maintenance contracts and coordinate timely responses.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role in the roofing industry.

In-depth knowledge of flat and pitched roofing systems, asbestos replacement procedures, guttering, and over-cladding.

Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Full UK driving licence (essential).

Relevant qualifications in construction or roofing (desirable but not essential).
