Contracts Manager

You will be the key link between the client, designers, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams-driving projects from concept to handover.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nMeet with client Project Managers and Designers to scope projects from initial design presentations\\n\\nPlan and manage the annual programme of works, adapting to frequently changing start dates\\n\\nPrice projects from drawings, manage budgets, and carry out value engineering where required\\n\\nProcure materials and manage suppliers across multiple counties, balancing cost, quality, and lead times\\n\\nAppoint, manage, and programme subcontractors, including cost control and scheduling\\n\\nProduce detailed construction programmes and comprehensive Health & Safety documentation\\n\\nProjects are independently scored, with two random H&S inspections per site\\n\\nResource and manage site labour, supporting the development of a new workforce\\n\\nRun projects from start to completion, dealing confidently with designers and offering solutions rather than problems\\n\\nPrepare and agree final accounts, including variations and subcontractor payments\\n\\nBuild and maintain a strong working relationship with the client team, recognising that performance is judged on the last project delivered\\n\\nWork effectively under pressure to resolve issues quickly and professionally\\n\\nPre-snag completed restaurants and deliver a clean, fully trade-ready site at handover\\n\\nKey Skills & Experience\\n\\nProven experience as a Contracts Manager within restaurant, retail, or fast-track refurbishment projects\\n\\nJoinery or carpentry background strongly preferred, with a good understanding of bespoke fit-out works\\n\\nStrong commercial and pricing experience, including working from drawings\\n\\nExcellent organisational and programme management skills\\n\\nConfident communicator, able to manage clients, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors\\n\\nSolid understanding of Health & Safety requirements in a live operational environment\\n\\nPractical, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work calmly under pressure\\n\\nWhat We Offer\\n\\nCompetitive salary: £55,000 – £65,000\\n\\nCar allowance\\n\\nEmployee Ownership Trust (EOT) benefits\\n\\nLong-term, repeat-work client relationship\\n\\nA challenging role with real responsibility and autonomy\\n\\nApply: Ready to bring your expertise to the team?
