The Company: We are working with a 100yr old Regional Building Contractor who have grown consistently over the last few years and are capable of taking on construction projects valued up to £40 million for a varied client base which are exclusively based in the North West of England. They are privately owned, profitable and are active in several market sectors including Scoial Housing. This is a really good opportunity to join a long established business who extremely financially stable. They secure work through several key regional procurement frameworks and good relationships with private sector clients. This a new role reporting into a highly experienced Commercial Director and MD. The Role: Due to gradual and consistent growth they are now in a position to recruit a Commercial Manager into their team. The role has responsibility for small and highly effective Quantity Surveying team. This is a Director Designate position and working alongside their Operations Manager you will be expected to help lead the business in the future. Working for this growing building contractor you will be valued as a key member of the team. This contractor provides really good support and training to help you to be successful in your career with Directors who are keen to pass on their knowledge. You: They would like to recruit a Commercial Manager who has experience of working for a Regional Building contractor in a similar role. They would also be keen to hear from Senior QSs or Managing QSs who are ready to take the step up into a Commercial Management role – they can support you with that transition. You will need to be able to commute to their offices so will likely live in Manchester.
