Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Rate: £16.70 per hour (PAYE Umbrella) Full time position DRIVING LICENSE NEEDED About the Role: Our client, a well-established contractor operating within the social housing sector, is currently recruiting for a Full Time Cleaner to work across social housing properties in Liverpool, UK. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering consistent weekday hours and the potential for long-term employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within occupied and void social housing properties, communal areas, and welfare facilities. Key Duties & Responsibilities Cleaning communal areas including stairwells, corridors, entrance halls, lifts and walkways. Carrying out cleans within occupied and void social housing properties. Completing sparkle cleans following repair, refurbishment and construction works. Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and welfare facilities to a high standard. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting designated areas. Sanitising high-touch surfaces and communal facilities. Removing rubbish and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly. Replenishing cleaning consumables where required. Reporting maintenance issues, damages or health and safety concerns. Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company health and safety procedures. Requirements Previous cleaning experience within social housing, construction, facilities management or a similar environment. Good attention to detail and ability to work independently. Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work. Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and COSHH awareness is advantageous. Full UK Driving Licence is beneficial but not essential.
