We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to work on a temp-to-perm basis delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment works within the Social Housing sector across Warrington, Cheshire, and Crewe.
Working within tenanted properties, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of trade tasks including kitchen and bathroom installations, joinery, plumbing, plastering, and general property maintenance. Experience with vinyl flooring is advantageous but not essential.
This role would suit a reliable and customer-focused operative who is confident working independently within occupied homes and delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out full kitchen and bathroom installations
- Completing a range of joinery repairs and installation works
- Undertaking general plumbing tasks and minor repairs
- Performing plastering and patch repairs as required
- Installing vinyl flooring where necessary (desirable)
- Completing general maintenance and refurbishment works within occupied properties
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations
- Providing excellent customer service while working in residents' homes
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times
- To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Operative
- Strong skills across multiple trades including joinery, plumbing, plastering, and kitchen/bathroom fitting
- Previous experience working within the Social Housing sector
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience fitting vinyl flooring is desirable but not essential
