The Role
You\’ll become a vital part of the design and technical team, producing accurate layout drawings using AutoCAD and collaborating with technical specialists across the industry. Your responsibilities will include:
Producing drawings for composite floor systems and roof decking using AutoCAD
* Amending drawings based on feedback from senior colleagues and clients
* Liaising closely with steel contractors, structural engineers and architects
* Managing key project documentation and online platforms such as 4Projects, Asite or Aconex
* Generating material cut lists and verifying technical accuracy
* Issuing and maintaining essential product documentationAbout You
You\’ll thrive in a fast-paced project environment and take pride in producing neat, technically accurate work. We\’re looking for:
Minimum 1 year of experience using AutoCAD (essential)
* Knowledge of Tekla or Revit is beneficial
* Confident use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Strong written communication and excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver on deadlines
* Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
