A specialist commercial joinery manufacturer and fit-out contractor delivering high-quality bespoke joinery to leisure, retail and commercial clients. Operating from a modern Wigan workshop, they handle projects from design to installation within a close-knit, growing team.
As Joinery Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will support all commercial aspects of bespoke joinery and fit-out projects, from tender to final account. You will work with directors, production and site teams to ensure accurate pricing, cost control and profitable delivery.
As Joinery Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing estimates and quotations for bespoke joinery and fit-out works.
- Reviewing drawings and specifications to produce take-offs and cost breakdowns.
- Managing valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers on commercial matters.
The successful Joinery Quantity Surveyor / Estimator will be commercially strong, detail focused and familiar with bespoke joinery or fit-out. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment and managing multiple tenders/projects.
The successful Joinery Quantity Surveyor / Estimator will have:
- QS/Estimating experience in joinery, shopfitting or fit-out.
- Ability to read drawings and understand joinery manufacture and installation.
- Experience with valuations, variations and contracts.
- Strong IT skills (Excel and estimating software) and clear communication skills.
£45,000 - £60,000 salary, dependent on experience, plus package.
