A leading independent construction and property consultancy is looking to appoint a talented Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their established commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects spanning residential, heritage, commercial, and insurance, delivering high-quality cost consultancy services from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of cost plans, budget estimates, and tender documentation.
- Managing procurement processes and providing contract administration support.
- Ongoing cost management and monitoring of project expenditure.
- Evaluation of contractor claims, including extensions of time and loss & expense.
- Providing risk management, reinstatement valuations, and third-party cost reports.
- Supporting dispute resolution with clear, evidence-based reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or similar discipline).
- Ideally MRICS qualified or working towards chartership.
- Experience across both pre-contract and post-contract stages.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to take ownership of projects.
