Our client is delivering a major residential refurbishment project in East Manchester, upgrading 300 apartments to a high standard. They are committed to professional project delivery, maintaining strict cost control, and ensuring excellent standards throughout the refurbishment process.
We are looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor with a strong focus on post-contract duties only. You will be working exclusively on cost management after contract award for a large-scale residential refurbishment, ensuring the project is delivered on budget and efficiently.
As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Full post-contract cost management for a 300-apartment refurbishment project
- Preparation, assessment, and submission of valuations, interim payments, and final accounts
- Managing variations, claims, and contractual correspondence with subcontractors and consultants
- Monitoring and reporting on project costs throughout the refurbishment lifecycle
- Ensuring strict compliance with contract terms (JCT/NEC) and company procedures
- Maintaining detailed cost records and project documentation
The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will have:
- Significant experience working on post-contract duties only
- Experience in residential refurbishment projects, ideally multi-apartment schemes
- Strong knowledge of JCT or NEC post-contract procedures
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and negotiation skills
- Relevant degree or RICS accreditation desirable
Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 per annum
