This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing design & build contractor specialising in high-quality CAT A & CAT B commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering complex, fast-paced schemes across the North West, with a focus on quality, collaboration, and repeat client relationships.
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to take a lead role in pricing and securing CAT A & B fit-out projects. Based in Stockport, you will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, working closely with senior leadership, commercial teams, and delivery teams to support continued business growth.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for CAT A & CAT B fit-out and refurbishment projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and employer's requirements to assess scope and risk
- Producing detailed take-offs and building up accurate rates from first principles where required
- Obtaining and assessing subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Preparing tender analysis and supporting commercial recommendations
- Working closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure smooth handover post-award
Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within commercial fit-out or refurbishment is required, along with strong experience delivering CAT A & CAT B projects. Excellent numerical, analytical, and commercial skills are essential, as well as proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
You'll be joining a progressive contractor with a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering high-quality commercial schemes. Competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 DOE, attractive package including car allowance, pension, and bonus, and the opportunity to work on varied and high-profile fit-out projects with clear progression opportunities within a growing business.
