Estimator / Senior Estimator - Dry Lining & Interior Fit Out Salary/Package - £55,000 - £65,000 + Excellent Benefits Package Our client is a well-established, family-run construction specialist based in South Yorkshire, delivering projects across the North of England. The business specialises in commercial dry lining, plastering, metal stud partitioning, suspended ceilings, acoustic wall panels, SFS and office fit-outs. They have built a strong reputation for delivering projects on time, on budget and to high standards, with experience across commercial, education, residential, hospitality and refurbishment projects. The company works with major Tier 1 contractors and has developed a strong pipeline of projects ranging from approximately £100k to £2m, with an established and growing business model. Due to continued growth, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator / Senior Estimator to join the commercial team. The role will focus on pricing dry lining, plastering, ceilings, partitions and associated interior fit-out packages, working on projects from initial enquiry through to tender submission and handover. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator who wants to join a growing specialist contractor and take genuine ownership of the estimating function. Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for dry lining and interior fit-out projects Pricing projects ranging from approximately £100k - £2m Building up rates for labour, materials, plant, access and preliminaries Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations Identifying risks, exclusions and commercial opportunities Liaising with clients, Tier 1 contractors, suppliers and subcontractors Working closely with the commercial and operational teams Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within construction Strong experience within dry lining, plastering, ceilings, partitions or interior fit out Experience pricing projects for main contractors / Tier 1 contractors Experience obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations Strong commercial awareness Strong Excel and general IT skills Experience working with major contractors such as Tier 1 construction businesses would be advantageous Barnsley-based head office Established and growing specialist contractor Projects typically ranging from £100k - £2m Strong Tier 1 contractor client base Opportunity to work across dry lining and interior fit-out projects Long-term career progression Apply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.
