Lead the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for major civil engineering projects.

Manage all aspects of contractual and financial management for projects.

Conduct detailed risk analysis and cost control.

Oversee procurement processes and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

Provide expert advice on commercial and contractual matters to project teams.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, fostering professional growth within the team.

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Strong understanding of construction contracts and legislation.
-
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
-
Proficient in relevant software and tools.
-
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
-
NEC3/4 & JCT Contract Experience
-
Estimating ability inc. experience/understanding of CESSM
-
8 years experience in a QS role, water / wastewater experience ideal but not essential
-
Producing Cash Flow, Forecasts and assisting management accounts
-
Tendering and Framework application support and experience
-
