A leading independent construction and property consultancy is looking to appoint a talented Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their established commercial team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects-spanning residential, heritage, commercial, and insurance-delivering high-quality cost consultancy services from inception through to completion. The role offers excellent scope for professional development and long-term career progression within a supportive, employee-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Preparation of cost plans, budget estimates, and tender documentation.

Managing procurement processes and providing contract administration support.

Ongoing cost management and monitoring of project expenditure.

Evaluation of contractor claims, including extensions of time and loss & expense.

Providing risk management, reinstatement valuations, and third-party cost reports.

Supporting dispute resolution with clear, evidence-based reporting.
What We\’re Looking For
-
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or similar discipline).

Ideally MRICS qualified or working towards chartership.

Experience across both pre-contract and post-contract stages.

Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability.

A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to take ownership of projects.
