We are seeking an experienced and proactive Disrepair Supervisor/ Site supervisor to join a growing Social Housing Contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a trade background and experience within social housing, repairs, maintenance, or disrepair projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing disrepair works from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is a temp to perm contract offering a salary of £42,000 - £45,000.
Key Responsibilities- Attend pre-start meetings with clients to assess works in line with Scott Schedules.
- Develop and implement clear workflows for operatives based on agreed schedules of work.
- Supervise and monitor site activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, performance targets, and health & safety requirements.
- Price and code jobs using NATFED Schedule of Rates and client quotations.
- Prepare and submit variation requests, including detailed narratives, supporting photographs, and associated costs.
- Conduct daily and weekly compliance checks on operatives, including PDA usage, vehicle inspections, and company procedures.
- Manage both directly employed and subcontracted operatives to ensure efficient delivery of works.
- Utilise company systems, including Epix, to record, monitor, and audit job information.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing progress updates and resolving any site-related issues promptly.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with contractual requirements and client expectations.
- A trade background with strong knowledge of disrepair works and associated processes.
- Previous experience supervising repairs, maintenance, refurbishment, or social housing contracts.
- Experience working with NATFED Schedule of Rates.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience managing operatives and subcontractors.
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
- Experience working within social housing and disrepair contracts.
