As Groundworks Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple projects, supporting delivery teams from pre-construction through to final account. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to technically challenging schemes and the opportunity to progress within a growing commercial structure.

As Groundworks Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Commercial management of groundworks and civil engineering projects
  • Cost control, forecasting and reporting
  • Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
  • Valuations, variations and change management
  • Final accounts and commercial close-out
  • Supporting project delivery teams with commercial strategy
  • Maintaining strong client and supply chain relationships
  • Ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently

The successful Groundworks Quantity Surveyor will have:

  • Proven experience within groundworks, civils or infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Experience managing subcontractor packages
  • Ability to work across multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Relevant construction or commercial qualifications (desirable, not essential)
