We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing construction company, for an Estimator to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to work on a varied portfolio of construction, refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects across multiple sectors.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and pricing packages while supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed estimates and tender documents
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Sourcing and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams
  • Assisting with budgets, cost planning, and commercial reporting
  • Ensuring all tenders are submitted accurately and on time

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
  • Experience with refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance, or new build projects
  • Excellent commercial awareness and numerical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating software
