A well-established and growing civil engineering contractor based in Manchester, delivering high-quality groundworks, reinforced concrete (RC) frame, and infrastructure packages across the North West and beyond. The business operates across commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors, with a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and technical expertise. With a healthy pipeline of secured work and continued growth, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Estimator.

As Estimator - Groundworks & RC Frame, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing accurate and competitive tenders for groundwork and RC frame packages
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
  • Undertaking take-offs and producing detailed cost plans
  • Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Identifying value engineering opportunities and risk factors
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the tender process
  • Supporting pre-construction and handover to delivery teams
  • Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings where required

The successful Estimator - Groundworks & RC Frame will have:

  • Proven experience estimating groundworks and reinforced concrete frame projects
  • A strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and buildability
  • Experience working on residential, commercial, or infrastructure schemes
  • Excellent commercial awareness and cost analysis skills
