I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing interior fit-out contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. Specialising in plastering, drylining and interior systems, my client has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, healthcare, education, residential and public sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects and become a key member of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a company that genuinely values its people. The Role

The role will involve managing multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Your time will be split between site and the office, although the majority of your working week will be spent visiting live projects. The business offers flexibility, allowing you to manage your own diary and workload to suit project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple plastering and drylining projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinating projects from pre-start through to completion.
  • Carrying out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and Health & Safety.
  • Managing subcontractors, labour and material procurement.
  • Attending client and site progress meetings.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, site teams and suppliers.
  • Monitoring programmes and ensuring projects remain on schedule.
  • Identifying and resolving site issues efficiently.
  • Working closely with the commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and customer satisfaction throughout each project.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within the plastering and drylining sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of interior fit-out packages.
  • The ability to manage multiple live contracts simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
