40 hours per week About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Multi Skilled Operative
to work on a temp-to-perm basis delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment works within the Social Housing sector across
Basildon/Rochford area. Working within tenanted properties, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of trade tasks including kitchen and bathroom installations, joinery, plumbing, plastering, and general property maintenance. Experience with vinyl flooring is advantageous but not essential. This role would suit a reliable and customer-focused operative who is confident working independently within occupied homes and delivering high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Carrying out full kitchen and bathroom installations Completing a range of joinery repairs and installation works Undertaking general plumbing tasks and minor repairs Performing plastering and patch repairs as required Installing vinyl flooring where necessary (desirable) Completing general maintenance and refurbishment works within occupied properties Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations Providing excellent customer service while working in residents' homes Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates should have: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery (or equivalent) Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Operative Strong skills across multiple trades including joinery, plumbing, plastering, and kitchen/bathroom fitting Previous experience working within the Social Housing sector Full UK Driving Licence Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experience fitting vinyl flooring is desirable but not essential To Apply INDC
