About the Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Flagger to work with a Housing Association based in Halton. The role will involve preparing and laying paving slabs (flags) and carrying out external paving repairs to a high standard across residential properties and pathways. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Flagger looking for an immediate start on a well-established social housing contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and levelling ground surfaces for paving installation
  • Laying flags, paving slabs and other paving materials to a high standard
  • Carrying out repairs and replacements to existing paved areas
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with specifications and within agreed timescales
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
  • Delivering excellent workmanship and customer service while working on occupied properties

Requirements

  • Previous experience in flagging/paving, ideally within the Social Housing sector
  • NVQ qualification in a relevant trade (preferred)
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Good understanding of construction health and safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
