The Role
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a busy and dynamic team. You will play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring financial control, and supporting the delivery of construction projects on time and within budget.
As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
- Measuring and valuing construction work, including variations and final accounts.
- Managing subcontractor and supplier contracts, procurement, and payments.
- Supporting senior QS and project teams with commercial reporting and cost analysis.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction or commercial projects, be highly organised, and able to work across multiple projects simultaneously. The successful Intermediate Quantity Surveyor will have:
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a QS in a commercial or residential construction environment.
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying (HND, BSc, or equivalent).
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
