Our client, a leading specialist roofing contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality roofing and waterproofing solutions across the UK, is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in flat roofing to take ownership of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate roofing operatives and subcontractors on site.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to Contracts Managers.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout project delivery.
- Manage materials, plant, and labour resources effectively.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all site documentation, permits, and records are completed accurately.
- Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Site Supervisor role within the roofing industry.
- Strong background in flat roofing systems.
- Excellent knowledge of health & safety legislation and site management practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification preferred.
- CSCS card essential.
