Document Controller (12-Month Contract - Temp to Perm)

About the Company

Our client is a growing construction and development business delivering large-scale residential and commercial projects across the North West. With a strong pipeline of secured work, they offer a collaborative environment and excellent opportunity for long-term progression.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and organised Document Controller to join the team on a 12-month contract, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent. This role will support a live construction project, ensuring all documentation is accurately managed, controlled, and distributed across multiple teams.

As Document Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Uploading, organising, and maintaining project documentation
  • Managing documents using systems such as SharePoint and Procore
  • Acting as the main point of contact for incoming and outgoing project files
  • Ensuring all documents are correctly named, version controlled, and distributed
  • Communicating with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding documentation
  • Supporting project teams by keeping records accurate and up to date
  • Assisting with general document control and administrative duties

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Document Controller will have:

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence using digital systems and document management tools
  • Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple teams
  • Ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines efficiently
  • Previous experience in document control, administration, or construction support (desirable but not essential)
