As part of their continued expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Cladding Estimator to join their pre-construction team. \n \nThe Role\n \n As Cladding Estimator, you will be responsible for: \n \n \n Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for cladding, façade, and building envelope projects \n \n Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation \n \n Producing detailed take-offs, cost plans, and pricing schedules \n \n Obtaining competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors \n \n Identifying value engineering opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance \n \n Assessing commercial and technical risks throughout the tender process \n \n Preparing comprehensive tender submissions within agreed deadlines \n \n Working closely with design, commercial, and operational teams \n \n Supporting client meetings and tender interviews where required \n \n Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors \n \n \nThe Ideal Candidate\n \n The successful Cladding Estimator will have: \n \n \n Proven experience as an Estimator within the cladding, façades, roofing, glazing, or building envelope sector \n \n Strong understanding of façade systems, rainscreen cladding, EWI, or remediation projects \n \n Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills \n \n Experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications \n \n Strong negotiation and communication skills \n \n The ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines \n \n A proactive, organised, and commercially focused approach \n \n Relevant construction, estimating, or quantity surveying qualifications would be advantageous \n \n \nWhat's on Offer\n \n \n \n Competitive basic salary of £55,000 - £75,000 \n \n Attractive benefits package \n \n Opportunity to join a growing specialist façade contractor \n \n Exposure to technically challenging façade and remediation projects \n \n Long-term career progression within an expanding business \n \n Collaborative and supportive pre-construction team \n \n Apply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris. \n Building Careers UK specialises in Construction and Property recruitment and serves as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
