The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple flat roofing contracts from pre-construction to final handover. You will ensure quality, safety, and performance across all projects while leading site teams and ensuring client expectations are consistently exceeded.

You will be at the forefront of flat roofing project delivery, from compiling RAMS and planning work through to managing materials, subcontractors, and HSE compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of flat roofing projects across the North West and Yorkshire
  • Produce site-specific RAMS and obtain HSE approvals pre-start
  • Ensure on-site H&S compliance, including for subcontracted teams
  • Manage project performance, commercial tracking, and contract KPIs
  • Oversee quality standards across all roofing installations
  • Provide all key documentation and project info to site teams
  • Review lessons learned post-project to improve future delivery
  • Attend adjudication and progress meetings as needed
  • Stay updated on roofing materials, specs, and regulations

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience managing flat roofing projects (felt, single-ply, hot melt, or liquid)
  • Strong background in contract or project management within roofing
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple live projects simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of roofing regulations and installation standards
  • Confident communicator with good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Passion for quality and growth in the roofing sector

Essential Certifications & Requirements

  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Valid CSCS card
  • SMSTS / SSSTS
  • Experience working at height and with HSE compliance
  • Clean DBS check

(Desirable) Knowledge of housing law/housing maintenance (for public-sector clients)
