A well-established and growing residential contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Director to lead its construction operations across a strong pipeline of residential developments. The business specialises in new-build residential developments, delivering schemes for Registered Providers, private clients and development partners across the region. This is a senior leadership position, responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of multiple projects and providing direction to the wider construction team. You will work closely with the senior management and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality and programme standards. You will also have an important role in the continued development of the construction function, including improving processes, developing the operational team and ensuring the business has the structure and resource required to support its future workload. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the residential sector. You will currently be operating at a similar level, with proven experience managing multiple projects and leading operational teams. This would suit an experienced construction professional who is comfortable working at a senior level while remaining closely involved with project delivery and the wider operational performance of the business.
