Our client is a well-established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building services solutions across the commercial, industrial sectors.
The Role
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial gas systems and associated plant across various client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, fault-finding, and repairs on commercial gas appliances and systems.
- Undertake installation and commissioning of commercial boilers, burners, and heating systems.
- Complete all compliance documentation and service reports accurately.
- Diagnose system faults and recommend solutions or upgrades.
- Work closely with the wider M&E team to support project delivery.
- Ensure all work meets current Gas Safe, health, and safety standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- Commercial Gas Qualifications (ACS): COCN1 / CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance and installation.
- Strong technical and fault-finding skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- (Desirable) Experience with HVAC or multi-skilled M&E systems.
