Due to continued growth and a strong order book, an opportunity has arisen for a Project / Senior Planner to join a dynamic team based in Warrington. You will play a key role in the successful planning and delivery of construction projects, working closely with operational teams to ensure programmes are robust, realistic, and aligned with project objectives.
As Project / Senior Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, managing, and maintaining detailed project programmes using Astra Powerproject
- Working closely with project teams to ensure accurate planning from pre-construction through to delivery
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and critical path activities
- Monitoring progress and producing regular reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting tender and bid submissions with programme input
- Ensuring programmes align with NEC contract requirements where applicable
- Collaborating with site teams, commercial teams, and clients to drive project performance
The successful Project / Senior Planner will have:
- Proven experience in a Planning role within the construction industry
- Strong working knowledge of Astra Powerproject
- Experience working under NEC forms of contract
- A solid understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider project team
