A well-established and highly regarded main contractor is currently looking to appoint an experienced Foreman to support the delivery of an 8-storey residential project in Manchester. This is a key site-based role, working closely with the Project Manager to drive the internal finishing stages of the scheme through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day internal finishing activities on site
- Coordinate subcontractors across trades such as drylining, joinery, M&E, and decorating
- Monitor progress and ensure works are aligned with project timelines
- Maintain strict health & safety compliance across all activities
- Carry out quality inspections, snagging, and handover preparation
- Identify and resolve site issues in a timely manner
- Provide regular updates to site management
The Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Foreman on similar projects
- Strong background in internal finishing stages
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to read drawings and manage multiple trades effectively
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification required
