Business support officer Temp ( 6 months) Location - Warrington Salary - £29,402 Business support officer role forms part of the Asset Management Team and provides professional, accurate and proactive support across property maintenance and compliance activities.

The post holder will help ensure the asset portfolio remains compliant with statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements by supporting maintenance programmes, compliance monitoring, building surveys, inspections, works planning and associated administration.

The role requires strong attention to detail, effective coordination, accurate record keeping and the ability to support the implementation of Torus policies relating to maintenance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities Provide a full range of business support activities to a multi-disciplinary technical team across planned servicing, inspections, responsive repairs, maintenance, empty properties, compliance, new developments, private rented lettings, planning and investment schemes.

Support the accuracy, validation, integrity, storage and retrieval of compliance data, records and documentation.

Ensure work areas are delivered within agreed targets and standards, maintaining evidence and audit trails.

Update IT systems, databases and processes to provide evidence and assurance for audit purposes.

Coordinate maintenance and compliance surveys, inspections, servicing and programmes with other teams, supporting proactive solutions to minimise no-access issues.

Collect, scrutinise and update asset management, housing and financial management systems, ensuring documentation and service records are accurate and complete.

Monitor assigned tasks and maintain a proactive approach to meeting internal and external customer requests right first time.

Support the Asset team in developing processes and software to improve efficiency and provide assurance.

Contribute to the operational plan and the development of an outstanding service aligned to Torus' vision and values.

Champion change, innovation, continuous improvement, value for money and risk management.

Take personal responsibility for ongoing personal and professional development.

Contribute positively to a team culture based on trust, mutual respect, integrity, accountability and collaboration.
