We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing HVAC and building services contractor operating across commercial and care environments throughout the UK. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start available, offering long-term, stable work for the right candidate.

Please note: this role involves regular UK-wide travel, so flexibility to work away from home when required is essential.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on a range of commercial heating systems and gas appliances within live commercial and care environments.
  • Duties will include:
    • Servicing and maintenance of commercial gas appliances
    • Commercial boiler servicing and breakdown response
    • Fault finding and repairs on heating systems and plant
    • Testing, purging, and commissioning of systems
    • Completing compliance documentation and digital job reports
    • Working independently within a lone working environment
    • Participation in an Out of Hours on-call rota
    • Working within live care home and commercial settings
    • Travelling to sites across the UK as required

Requirements:

Essential:

  • ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1), CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A
  • Valid Gas Safe Registration
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience working within commercial plant rooms

Desirable:

  • LPG qualifications
  • Experience working within care or healthcare environments
  • Strong fault-finding skills
  • Good communication and customer-facing approach
