About the Company

Our client is a specialist facade contractor delivering high-quality external envelope solutions across the UK. With extensive experience in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke facade systems, they have established an excellent reputation for delivering technically complex projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Working with leading developers, principal contractors, and consultants, the business delivers a wide range of cladding, curtain walling, rainscreen, glazing, and building envelope packages across the residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and mixed-use sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The Role

  • Taking full commercial responsibility for a £15 million facade package based in Liverpool
  • Managing the project from procurement through to final account
  • Preparing and submitting interim valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts
  • Procuring and managing specialist subcontractor packages
  • Producing CVRs, cost forecasts, and commercial reports
  • Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities to maximise profitability
  • Managing commercial risk and ensuring contractual compliance
  • Working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and the Commercial Manager to ensure successful project delivery
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Supporting the successful delivery of a landmark facade development

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
  • Experience working on facade, cladding, curtain walling, glazing, or building envelope projects would be highly advantageous
  • Alternatively, experience working for a Main Contractor delivering major construction projects will also be considered
  • Strong knowledge of commercial management, cost reporting, procurement, and final accounts
  • Experience producing CVRs, valuations, and cost forecasts
  • Excellent understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • Full UK Driving Licence
