We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join the BUILDHOLLYWOOD Marketing team. You'll be the creative engine behind our print and digital materials, making sure everything we put out is on-brand, polished, and delivered on time. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, juggling multiple projects at once, and keeping our brand exciting, relevant, and visible to both clients and partners. You will be based in our Angel office 4 days a week, with 1 day working from home.

What you'll be doing

  • You'll design a wide range of materials across digital and print, including our annual zine, business cards, and brochures, always to the highest creative standard.
  • You’ll manage and update the BUILDHOLLYWOOD website using WordPress, building features and pages as needed, and collaborate directly with external partners — charities, artists and musicians to create posters and design assets that bring our partnerships to life.
  • Supporting the marketing team with sales tools like creds and proposals, you’ll also pitch in on ad-hoc design requests from across the business including Creative Studio, Social, Distribution, Print, IT and HR.
  • Working alongside an external design agency on bigger brand projects, you'll use tools like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects to bring ideas to life — all while managing your time, stakeholders, and your workload with confidence.

About you

  • You have proven experience as a graphic designer, ideally within a marketing or agency environment.
  • You're highly skilled across Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, with experience in Premiere Pro and After Effects a plus.
  • You have working knowledge of WordPress and a good understanding of HTML/CSS.
  • You're a confident communicator, comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • You can juggle multiple projects at once, manage your time effectively, and keep stakeholders updated on progress.
  • You have a sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of brand guidelines and visual consistency.
  • You're open to feedback and able to implement changes quickly and constructively.
  • You're proactive, organised, and comfortable working to deadlines across both print and digital projects.
  • You're curious and keen to keep learning, attending training sessions and industry events to stay on top of design trends.

Benefits

  • Salary of circa £35k plus bonus scheme to share in company success.
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and an additional day off to celebrate your birthday (incrementally rising to 30 days after 5 years’ service).
  • Life Insurance and Group Income Protection with Canada Life.
  • Flexible working hours - to help you achieve that all-important work-life balance.
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
  • Family is important to us, so we have a range of inclusive family-friendly policies in place, including enhanced leave to support you during those important times.

  • AUTHENTIC – We believe that we are at our strongest and most creative when everyone can be their authentic selves.
  • CARE – We take care in what we do, we are meticulous in the execution of our tasks.
  • COMMUNITY – We are part of something bigger than ourselves, one team and one community with a common goal and purpose.
