A well-established Midlands-based main contractor is looking to appoint a Regional Site Engineer to support the delivery of a range of commercial build projects across the region. This role will see you working across multiple sites, supporting project teams on schemes valued up to £20m across sectors including student accommodation, education and blue light developments.
The Role
As Regional Site Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects by ensuring quality standards are maintained and subcontractor works are checked and verified on site. Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing QA processes and documentation across projects
- Checking and verifying subcontractor works on site
- Supporting delivery of key packages including steel frame, masonry and groundworks
- Carrying out setting out checks and technical support to site teams
- Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and programme
- Working across multiple live projects to support engineering and site teams
Requirements
- Experience working as a Site Engineer within a main contractor environment
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, steel and masonry packages
- Experience with QA processes and technical compliance
- Ability to work across multiple projects and manage your own workload
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
