Buildforce Solutions are recruiting for a Site Administrator to join a leading main contractor delivering a secure Ministry of Justice (MOJ) project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business on a high-profile scheme, providing essential administrative support to the site team while working in a secure environment.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will be responsible for ensuring all project administration is managed efficiently and accurately. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing general administrative support to the project team
- Organising meetings, issuing invitations and managing diaries
- Attending meetings, taking minutes and distributing action logs
- Managing digital filing systems and document control
- Printing, collating and issuing project documentation
- Preparing information packs and project folders as required
- Updating and maintaining project trackers and registers
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers via phone and email
- Chasing outstanding information and maintaining accurate project records
- Supporting the team with a range of day-to-day administrative duties
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Willingness to learn and use additional systems including:
- SharePoint
- Viewpoint
- Morgan Sindall's SIMS platform
- Previous experience in a construction or site administration role is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Security Requirements
- SC Clearance is required (applications can be made upon successful offer, although existing clearance would be advantageous)
- Applicants must be sole UK nationals. Non-UK nationals may be considered only in exceptional circumstances and are subject to additional approval.
