Buildforce Solutions are working in partnership with a leading Tier 1 main contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager for a major £20m industrial development in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of Industrial & Logistics projects across the M25 corridor.
The Project:
- £20m cold shell industrial development
- Steel frame construction
- Bitumen-based roofing system
- Attenuation and drainage packages
- Small, experienced delivery team consisting of a Project Manager and Senior Engineer
- Opportunity to take ownership of the project from construction through to completion
The Role:
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the scheme, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for:
- Managing the project from site mobilisation through to handover
- Leading and motivating the site delivery team
- Coordinating subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners
- Driving programme, quality and health & safety performance
- Working closely with the commercial and design teams
- Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings
- Identifying and mitigating project risks
- Ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction
About You:
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who has:
- A proven track record delivering large construction projects for a main contractor
- Experience within industrial, logistics, commercial or similarly complex steel frame projects
- Data Centre experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent programme management and stakeholder management abilities
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
