We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to lead the delivery of a commercial build and fit-out project based in Stowmarket. This is a 42-week contract, ideal for someone with a strong background in both commercial construction and internal fit-out phases.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day site operations, from groundworks through to handover
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors across build and fit-out packages
- Ensure project is delivered to programme, on budget, and to a high-quality standard
- Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures and site compliance
- Conduct regular site briefings, toolbox talks, and progress meetings
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients on progress and reporting
- Maintain site documentation and contribute to snag-free delivery
- Proven experience managing both commercial construction and interior fit-out projects
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), and First Aid (essential)
- Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Able to work to deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Based within commuting distance to Stowmarket
