We are currently working with a leading UK main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial and retail projects, typically ranging from 10m to 60m in value. With a strong presence across the UK through a network of regional offices, the business has an excellent pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering complex projects to a high standard. The role can be carried out fully remotely, offering genuine flexibility while working alongside an experienced and supportive pre-construction team.
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of major projects, working closely with the pre-construction, commercial and operational teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed estimates and tenders for projects typically valued between 10m and 60m
- Analysing tender documentation, drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Obtaining and assessing subcontractor and supplier quotations
