Buildforce Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional contractor for an experienced Document Controller to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy contractor delivering projects across the Midlands, with the chance to play a key role in the company's transition from 4Projects to Procore.
The Role
Based out of the Rugby office, you’ll support three live construction projects across the Coventry region, splitting your time between the office and site. You’ll be responsible for managing project documentation, ensuring information is controlled efficiently and accurately, whilst supporting the successful rollout of Procore across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage document control across three live construction projects.
- Administer and maintain project documentation using 4Projects and Procore.
- Support the business as it transitions from 4Projects to Procore.
- Issue, track and manage drawings, specifications, RFIs and technical documentation.
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure project information is up to date.
- Liaise with site teams, consultants, subcontractors and design teams.
- Assist with project handovers, O&M manuals and document close-out.
- Ensure document control procedures are followed across all projects.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry.
- Experience using 4Projects and ideally Procore.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with site and office teams.
- A proactive approach and willingness to travel between the Rugby office and project sites.
